Energy Upgrade CA

California Public Utilities Commission & California Energy Commission have collaborated to offer incentives and rebates to customers of the Southern California Gas Company & Southern California Edison.  Cities within LA County and municipally owned utilities in LA County are also offering rebates to homeowners who implement energy efficiency upgrades by using an BPI certified energy auditor to verify energy reduction.

Basic Package measures:  

• Attic air sealing
• Attic insulation
• Duct sealing
• Pipe wrap for domestic hot water heater
• Low Flow Showerhead or Low Flow Showerhead with Thermostatic Valve Control
• Combustion Safety Test

Installation of these measures will be $1,000.  This is a fixed incentive for customer installation of the five measures and the completion of a combustion safety test.
